Double Diploma Program

The Directorate for Turks Abroad and Related Communities of the Republic of Türkiye (YTB), in cooperation with the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), is offering scholarships for a limited number of students from Bosnia and Herzegovina within IUS's Joint Double Diploma Program (DDP) at prestigious universities in Türkiye.

Start your studies at IUS, then continue and graduate at one of our partner universities in Türkiye — Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Marmara University (MU), Istanbul University (IU), or the University of Health Sciences (SBU) — and earn two diplomas!

Comprehensive financial support during both phases of the program.

While Studying At
IUS — Sarajevo
Up to a 100% scholarship at IUS, based on the IUS Scholarship Testing results.
ITU · IU · MU DDP with ITU, IU and MU: Scholarship is valid for 1st and 2nd year of study at IUS
SBU DDP with SBU: Scholarship is valid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of study at IUS
While Studying In
Türkiye
YTB Scholarship includes:
accommodation in a state dormitory,
a monthly stipend,
health insurance, and
one round-trip airline ticket.
ITU · IU · MU DDP with ITU, IU and MU: Scholarship is valid for 3rd and 4th year of study at the partner university
SBU DDP with SBU: Scholarship is valid for 4th, 5th and 6th year of study at SBU
Requirements

Eligibility Requirements for the YTB Scholarship

Students must complete the required portion of their studies at IUS.

Before finishing their studies at IUS, students must provide an A2 Turkish language proficiency certificate (from a relevant recognized institution).

After receiving the scholarship and spending time in Türkiye, but before graduation, students must provide a B1 Turkish language proficiency certificate.
Good to Know

Additional Information

YTB support applies to the 3rd and 4th years of study while in Türkiye.
For Medicine and Dental Medicine, YTB scholarships cover the 4th, 5th, and 6th years of study while in Türkiye.
The scholarship is open to citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international students.
Turkish citizens are not eligible to apply.
Applications containing false information or incomplete documentation will be rejected.
